Venice's secret gardens
The palaces and buildings of Venice often hide secret gardens behind their high walls. Walking along the city streets you may come across formal gardens, convent orchards, private gardens embellished with sculptures, pergolas and rose arbours, “philosophical” or “author’s” gardens, each with its own story to tell.
Our first stop is a private garden, a secret bower surrounded by buildings, which in spring explodes with an extraordinary flowering of roses in all shades and colours, proudly tended by the lady of the house.
We continue with an “authorial” garden designed by Carlo Scarpa, a great 20th century Italian architect. The space, an oasis of culture and tranquillity, is a contemporary take on the traditional Venetian garden, re-interpreting it through oriental influences.

The Experience includes:
- Accompanying qualified tour director
- Water Taxi to and from Hotel Heureka
- Entrance to the private gardens and Fondazione Querini Stampalia
- Glass of Prosecco at the hotel at the end of the tour
The places included in our tours are regulated by the regulations in force in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic

Terms and conditions:
- The experience must be booked at least 14 days in advance
- A 30% payment is required at the time of booking.
- The 70% balance is required 3 days before the experience.
Cancellation policies:
- 30% refund is provided for cancellations received within 14 days of the experience date
- for cancellations received between 13 days and 4 days prior to the experience date, 30% will be applied as a penalty
- for cancellations received 3 days before arrival and beyond, 100% of the amount will be applied as a penalty
