Murano, Burano and Torcello

The most authentic and less widely known face of Venice is revealed by the wonders hidden away in the islands that dot the lagoon – a magical mix of myths, historical memories and breath-taking panoramas. A real “walk on the water” to discover the treasures that each island offers.

The first stop is Murano, the island where artistic glass is made: a miniature Venice, with unforgettable views, teeming with glass factories and extraordinary examples of industrial archaeology.

Burano is the island of small brightly coloured houses and is known for the needle lace that made it famous in all European courts.

The first island in the lagoon to be inhabited, Torcello has a wild charm and, in its archaeological heritage, still retains the poignant beauty of one of the most prosperous lagoon settlements.

  • Water Taxi at disposal
  • Entrance to the workshops and to the cultural Institutions
  • Glass of Prosecco at the hotel at the end of the tour

Number of participants:

  • from 2 to 6 persons
  • Duration: 4 hours
  • Suggested departure times from Hotel Heureka: 10:30 or 14:00

Terms and conditions:

  • The experience must be booked at least 14 days in advance
  • A 30% payment is required at the time of booking.
  • The 70% balance is required 3 days before the experience.

Cancellation policies:

  • 30% refund is provided for cancellations received within 14 days of the experience date
  • for cancellations received between 13 days and 4 days prior to the experience date, 30% will be applied as a penalty
  • for cancellations received 3 days before arrival and beyond, 100% of the amount will be applied as a penalty
